Hi Freshers

We hope everyone enjoyed the presentation and the free food we gave you all last week and that you have recovered from your freshers week hangover!!!

If you didn't get a chance to come along don't worry you can still join online now!

Some of the things we have planned include:
*Social nights: including Hyena Comedy Club, Curry and Bowling Night, Christmas Party, Rock Night
*Sport events: we have entered both the intra mural football and netball leagues and need players!!
*Academic: We are offering drop-in tutoring sessions to help you get through those exams
*Merchandise: Hoodies, Rugby Tops, T-Shirts
*Thirsty Thursdays - Every thursday in the Buttery we will provide you with one free drink (tea/coffee/orange/hot chocolate) - You need your membership card to collect

*Enter your details
*Select ShockSoc from the Clubs/Societies List
*In the memberships tab select proceed to checkout and enter your card details
*Once complete this you will receive an email from the union society confirming you have joined ShockSoc
*TO COLLECT YOUR MEMBERSHIP CARD YOU NEED TO FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO member@shocksoc.com

Remember, it's only £5 to join ShockSoc, plus £3 insurance which you only have to pay once for all the societies you join.

Finally, look out for details about our first event this sunday, the Hancock Pub Quiz.  The details of which are in the attached poster.  There will be a prize for a team with the best name.
