Curry Night and Hoodies
Hello all Shocksoccers!
We hope all those who attended the Comedy Night
last week enjoyed it as much as we did. If you have any feedback to give us
please see your year rep.
We are pleased to announce that our next event
will be a Curry Night on Monday 17th November in the Bigg Market. The price is
an amazingly cheap £6.00, and for this you will get your choice of curry and
meat, along with rice or chips and a naan bread! If you are brave you can try
and get your meal for free by taking the Curry Hell Challenge, eat a full
portion of the hottest curry in the world and get it free! The meal is booked
for 7.30 and we will be meeting at our favourite drinking hole, the Goose for
7pm. Tickets will be on sale with the lovely Deborah in reception on Monday,
and the deadline is 4pm on Friday. We hope you can all attend!
Also now
that winter has truly arrived, we are glad to offer you the chance to purchase
your own Shocksoc Hoodie or T-Shirt. The price of a hoodie is only £18, and a
t-shirt only £6. Again you can place your order with the lovely Deborah in
reception. Don't miss out on this great chance to look cool and make all your
non-engineering friends jealous! The deadline for ordering is Friday 21st
November, and they should be available within two weeks.
